What Are The Photovoltaic Brackets?
Aug 27, 2021
The choice of bracket directly affects the operation safety, damage rate and construction investment of photovoltaic modules. Choosing the right photovoltaic bracket can not only reduce the project cost, but also reduce the maintenance cost in the later stage.

Types of photovoltaic brackets
According to the different materials used for the main force-bearing members of photovoltaic brackets, they can be divided into aluminum alloy brackets, Carbon steel mounting system and flexible brackets.
1. Solar Aluminum alloy bracket
Aluminum alloy brackets are generally anodized (> 15um), aluminum can form a protective film in the air, and no anti-corrosion maintenance is required for later use. The price of aluminum alloy brackets is about three times that of steel.
It is suitable for roof power stations with load-bearing requirements and anti-corrosion industrial plant roof power stations.
2. Solar Carbon steel mounting system
Generally, hot-dip galvanizing (> 65um) is used, and its corrosion resistance is worse than that of aluminum alloy. The strength of steel is about 1.5 times that of aluminum alloy, and its weight is about 7.85g / ㎡.
It is suitable for power stations with strong strength in areas with strong winds and large spans. Most household photovoltaic power plants will choose to use hot-dip galvanized steel supports.
3.Flexible brackets
photovoltaic brackets have a wide range of adaptability and flexibility in use. Flexible supports are generally hot-dip galvanized (> 65um). Later use requires anti-corrosion maintenance, and the anti-corrosion ability is poor compared to the former two. Its weight is about 2/3 of the steel bracket.
It is suitable for various large-span application sites such as ordinary mountains, barren slopes, pool fishing ponds, and woodlands, and does not affect crop cultivation and fish farming.
The structure can effectively solve the problems that the existing solar photovoltaic power plant in the valleys and hills have great difficulty in construction, severe sunlight blocking, and low power generation.
No matter what type of solar solar photovoltaic power plant support, the components and accessories of its design scheme, the most important thing is to consider the weather resistance.
The structure must be strong and able to withstand atmospheric erosion, wind loads and other external effects.
Safe and reliable installation can achieve maximum use effect with minimum installation cost.
