Soaring 40.5%! The Installation Cost Of Portuguese Small Photovoltaic Systems Rose Sharply

The rising natural gas and electricity prices have prompted more consumers to invest in renewable energy, and in the face of unprecedented demand and lack of professional labor, photovoltaic installations have improved their installation prices. Alice Nunes, the new business director of FIXANDO, said, "Professional compensation and the price collected by photovoltaic developers have doubled, mainly due to the scarcity of labor and materials."

According to data from FIXANDO, 55%of the registration requests completed through its platform in July this year did not get a response. Among the companies listed on the application, less than 10%of the companies could provide new appointment services.

The applications registered on the FIXANDO program mainly come from Lisbon (17%), Porto (15%), Setubar (10%), Awello (9%), Braga (8%), and Liria (8%). Most users (89%) seek such services for houses with an area of more than 100 square meters. Despite the rise in costs, 42%of the users plan to connect their photovoltaic systems to the power grid, and only 25%of users are willing to maintain a state of departure.

FIXANDO conducted the study from July 1st to August 25th to investigate 2,600 users and 1,200 professionals registered on its platform.
