European Photovoltaic Industry Association: The EU Photovoltaic Industry Will Grow To 1 Million Employees By 2025

The European Photovoltaic Industry Association recently released a "EU Photovoltaic Industry Employment Report 2023". The agency predicts that by 2025, the number of employees in the European photovoltaic industry will increase to 1 million.
The report states that as of the end of 2022, a total of 648,000 workers in the EU photovoltaic industry increased by 39%compared with the previous year. The Polish photovoltaic industry has the most employees. As of the end of last year, nearly 150,000 people, followed by Spain and Germany.
The report states that the job of installing the photovoltaic system will continue to occupy the dominant position of the photovoltaic industry, accounting for 84%of the total number of employees.
The European Photovoltaic Industry Association said: "About 8%of the work is related to the operation and maintenance of photovoltaic systems, while the work of manufacturing photovoltaic components accounts for 7%, and the work of the retirement and recycling of photovoltaic systems accounts for 1%."
The demand for installation of photovoltaic systems has promoted the demand for more labor. After installing the photovoltaic system, the number of workers operating and maintenance is small. These suggestions include publicity and educational activities on green collar work, provide professional training for relevant professionals, promote the free flow of internal workers within the European Union, ensure cross -border recognition of work skills, and incorporate the needs of the labor force in the photovoltaic industry into the existing existing existing Immigration policy.
