In view of the shortcomings of traditional reinforced concrete cast-in-place pile foundations for photovoltaic supports, such as earthwork, environmental damage, long construction period, high site conditions, and difficulty in removal, Foundation screws have the following advantages:

(1) The construction speed is fast, and the economy is good. Foundation screws generally use special machinery for construction (as shown in the figure below). A screw pile can be completed within a few minutes, and the pile foundation can be used immediately after construction. There are no concrete construction and maintenance problems, which saves individual foundation personnel's wages. In addition, the construction equipment has strong mobility, quick access to the site, and low cost, and can reach any difficult terrain or construction in a narrow space.

(2) Convenient quality control. The screw piles are all produced in the factory to avoid the uneven quality of the foundation craftsmanship caused by the different technical levels of the construction personnel during the construction of the reinforced concrete cast-in-place piles.

(3) Environmentally friendly and good recyclability. During the construction of the screw pile, there is no need for earthwork development, direct screwing, basically no vibration and noise, and the lowest ecological damage. The steel pile can be reversed and pulled out after use, leaving no underground obstacles, and the site can be restored.

(4) The adjustability of installing the photovoltaic module bracket is high. At present, ground-based power stations are basically mountain photovoltaics, and the terrain is mostly uneven. In order to ensure the optimal inclination of the photovoltaic modules, the brackets are required to be easily installed and have strong adjustability. Because the ground screws are directly connected with the brackets, the adjustability is relatively higher than that of concrete prefabs. The buried bolt foundation is larger, which reduces the installation difficulty of the photovoltaic bracket.
